2013 World Rally Champion Sebastien Ogier successfully came through the final test, Great Orme, to clinch victory on Wales Rally GB today.

It was Ogier's ninth win of the year and his first in Wales, the perfect way to end his championship winning campaign.

Behind, Jari-Matti Latvala was second, with Thierry Neuville clinching the final spot on the rostrum for the Qatar World Rally Team. That result ensures the Belgian ends the season second in the Drivers' Championship - 'best of the rest' behind Ogier.

Neuville's team-mate Mads Ostberg meanwhile was fourth in his M-Sport-run Ford Fiesta RS WRC, with Volkswagen Motorsport II pilot Andreas Mikkelsen having to settle for fifth, after losing time with spins in SS17 and SS19.

Martin Prokop took sixth, one spot ahead of the sole surviving Citroen of Dani Sordo, while WRC2 runners, Elfyn Evans, Jari Ketomaa and Mark Higgins completed the top ten. Evans took the WRC2 honours by around a minute, much to the delight of the local crowd. It was his first win in the class.

Mikko Hirvonen and Robert Kubica were the two most notable retirements. Hirvonen crashed out on Friday in SS6 in his Citroen DS3 WRC, while Kubica went out twice - rolling in SS4 and then again in SS11 on Saturday after re-joining under the Rally 2 rules.
