Citroen's Dani Sordo took victory in the Monza Rally Show last weekend, beating MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi by 10.6 seconds.

Sordo, who was competing in his usual Citroen DS3 WRC car, won five of the nine stages that were run within the confines of the famous Italian circuit. The Spaniard also took the honours in the Master Show knock-out tournament to make it a double success.

"I like the atmosphere at the Monza Rally Show, an event that I have participated in on two other occasions," Sordo told his official website. "I had fun over the weekend competing with rivals, but also friends, including Valentino.
