Indeed of the eight events he contested - only a competitors best eight results counted - he won on six occasions, taking the honours in Austria, Gran Canaria, Portugal, Romania, Czech Republic and Croatia. He was also second in Corsica and third in Poland.

In addition he finished second in the Czech Championship, despite only doing four of the seven events.

He rightly then secures a place in your top-ten, ranked in the top-five and just ahead of Elfyn Evans with an average mark of 5.685.
