ERC: Kubica to contest Jannerrallye

Former F1 ace Robert Kubica to begin 2014 rally campaign early
Robert Kubica will compete on the 31 Int. Jannerrallye, Oberösterreich, round one of the 2014 FIA European Rally Championship, from 3-5 January.

Kubica, who will step up to the top level in the WRC next year and run in a Lotos-supported M-Sport Ford Fiesta RS WRC car, will use a Ford Fiesta RRC on the event. His car will be entered under the 'RK M-Sport WRT' banner and he will do the event as warm-up ahead of Rallye Monte Carlo later that same month.

The draft entry list for the Jannerrallye was published on Thursday and also includes ERC Production Car Cup champion Andreas Aigner, who will run in a Peugeot 207 S2000, as well as ERC 2WD title-winner Zoltán Bessenyey and 2013 Rally Poland victor, Kajetan Kajetanowicz.

Raimund Baumschlager and Václav Pech, national champions in Austria and the Czech Republic respectively, will also take part.
