M-Sport has revealed the livery it will run for the 2014 World Rally Championship ahead of the opening round of the new season in Monte Carlo this weekend.

Following the end of its title sponsorship deal with Qatar, the team will run in a striking blue and black colour scheme which pays tribute to long time partners Castrol and Michelin, while Ford's EcoBoost technology will also feature on the livery.

The new livery broke cover during the annual Autosport International show in Birmingham, where 3M Peltor applied the vinyl wrap to a blank car over the course of the weekend.

"I'm very happy to reveal the new 2014 livery for the M-Sport World Rally Team," team boss Malcolm Wilson said. "There has been a lot of hard work to get to this point, and I need to commend the efforts of every single member of our dedicated team.

"I am also delighted to announce that we will continue our long and successful partnership with our team partners, Castrol and Michelin, as well as our valued trade partners.

"We also continue our excellent working relationship with the Ford Motor Company whose invaluable technical support continues to aid M-Sport in the design and development of our award-winning range of Fiesta rally cars."

Wilson confirmed to Crash.net in Birmingham that the team was still seeking a title sponsor for its 2014 programme, which will see it field cars for Mikko Hirvonen and Elfyn Evans.
