Robert Kubica says he isn't underestimating the challenge of Rallye Monte Carlo as he prepares for his first outing on the event this weekend.

The former F1 racer will be making his debut for the RK M-Sport World Rally Team, with the season opener also marking his first outing at the wheel of his Ford Fiesta RS WRC.

On the back of his dramatic victory on the opening round of the ERC, Kubica goes into the Monte in positive mood but he admitted that his main aim was to gain valuable experience as he heads into his first season at the premier level of the sport.
