Xevi Pons will be among the drivers to watch when the Geko Ypres Rally hosts round six of the FIA European Rally Championship later this month.

Pons, a former team-mate of Sebastien Loeb, clinched the FIA Super 2000 World Rally Championship title in 2010 and remains one of Spain's leading international drivers, even though he's barely competed outside of his homeland in the last three seasons.

He will drive a KRS Rallyes Ford Fiesta R5 alongside compatriot Alex Haro, who partnered him to the SWRC crown in 2010.
