Hyundai's Juho Hanninen has crashed out of Rally Italia Sardegna after rolling his i20 WRC in SS5.

Hanninen went off 5.5 kilometres from the end of the 27.30 km Loelle test. The Finn and co-driver Tomi Tuominen both escaped unharmed, but they were not able to continue. It remains to be seen if they will be able to re-start on Saturday under Rally 2, although from a picture of the i20 WRC circulated on Twitter that seems unlikely.
