Ott Tanak put in a mature performance to finish seventh on Wales Rally GB last weekend and he is now hopeful the result will be "good for the future".

Tanak is rumoured to be in the frame to get a full-time drive with M-Sport again next season, replacing Mikko Hirvonen, who announced his retirement from the sport at the start of the month.

"I think it's been a good event for us and I've really enjoyed being back in a WRC car at the top level of the sport," said Tanak, who did a full season with the Cumbrian outfit in 2012, before being dropped.
