Bouffier to pilot M-Sport Fiesta RS WRC on Rallye Monte Carlo

Bryan Bouffier to do the 2015 WRC season opener, Rallye Monte Carlo, in an M-Sport-run Fiesta RS WRC car
Bryan Bouffier is to compete on Rallye Monte Carlo, the 2015 WRC season opener, in an M-Sport-run Ford Fiesta RS WRC car.

Bouffier put in a sensational performance on the Monte back in January and led from SS3 to SS9, until a spin dropped him to second behind eventual winner, Sebastien Ogier.

“Monte Carlo has been confirmed with a Fiesta WRC from M-Sport,” Bouffier wrote on his Facebook page. “I am really happy to be again able to take part in this amazing event.”

“Just back from Dakar, Xavier [Panseri - my co-driver] will be with me. The car livery will be showed when finished, but the base is quite similar... Looking forward to see you on the stages and Merry Christmas to all of you!” he added.

Bouffier won Rallye Monte Carlo back in 2011 - when it was part of the now defunct Intercontinental Rally Challenge - and he was re-signed by Hyundai as one of its test drivers back in April, later competing for the team in Germany and France.

He has yet to announce any other deal for 2015.
