Petter Solber has confirmed he plans to defend his World RX title in 2015 after becoming the first person to win two FIA titles in two different disciplines last year.

The Norwegian, who won the 2003 World Rally Championship, clinched the 2014 RallyX title with his eponymous PSRX team at the wheel of a Citroen DS3, picking up five wins from 12 events.

Though rumours had linked him to a possible return to WRC competition, Solberg says winning the RallyX title is spurring him on to achieve more success in the rapidly growing series for 2015.
