Sebastien Loeb may be a nine-time world rally champion, but he is not setting his sights too high for next week's Rallye Monte Carlo.

The Frenchman and co-driver Daniel Elena have been nominated to score points on their one-off appearance for Citro?n Total Abu Dhabi WRT alongside Kris Meeke, with Mads ?stberg and Jonas Andersson 'relegated' to the team's third entry. In addition to his multiple world titles, Loeb is also a seven-time Monte winner, a run only broken by his decision to turn his attention away from rallying towards the World Touring Car Championship for 2014.

"When Citro?n Racing offered me the chance to take part in this rally, it didn't take long to decide!" the Frenchman admitted, "Monte Carlo is held on French roads, and I love the atmosphere and how close we get to our supporters."
