The route for Rally Argentina has been altered after heavy rainfall has left some roads impassable.

The sudden downpours in the San Marcos area has caused tracks to be covered in thick mud and as a result a number of stages have been shortened.

Friday's SS05 from Villa Bustos to Tanti has been trimmed from 20.31km to 19.71km and Saturday's SS08 and SS10 which runs between San Marcos and Characato has been shortened to 42.50km, lobbing 14.27km off the start of the route.
