Citroen's Kris Meeke has completed the penultimate test of Rally Argentina still in the lead, while Jari-Matti Latvala was sidelined by engine problems, promoting Elfyn Evans up to third.

Meeke began the final day 38.6 seconds up on team-mate Mads Ostberg and the seventh best time through El Condor 1 keeps him very much on course for his maiden WRC victory.

He will now go into the repeat - and final test of the event - with 27seconds in hand. The Ulsterman gave no interviews after SS11 and instead headed straight to the re-group.

WRC2 class leader Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari holds eighth, with Diego Dominguez - his closest class rival - ninth, 2m 48.5s back, and Gustavo Saba tenth.
