The organisers of Tour de Corse – Rallye de France have confirmed SS3 will run, albeit more than 30 minutes later than planned.
Torrential rain overnight led to severe flooding and landslides forcing the earlier cancellation of SS2
, the 43.69 km test through Casamozza-Ponte Leccia - also due to run on Saturday as SS4. It also put SS3, the 36.43km Francardo-Sermano 1 test, in doubt, but it will now be held, starting at 15.30 hours local time [14.30 hours UK time].
A message from Patrick Bouteiller, the Clerk of the Course, to all competitors read:
“SS3 will be run normally.
