Former F1 driver Robert Kubica has retired from day two of Tour de Corse - Rallye de France after suffering two punctures in SS5 this morning.

Kubica, who had been running fifth overall in his Fiesta RS WRC car and who of course jointly held the lead with Sebastien Ogier after SS1, stopped twice in the 36.43 km Francardo-Sermano test, but was unable to continue the second time as he was only carrying one spare.

He will now re-start on Sunday under Rally 2 for the final three stages.
