RX: World Rallycross 2016 calendar released

Organisers of the FIA World Rallycross championship has released a provisional 2016 calendar, subject to confirmation by the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
Organisers of the FIA World Rallycross championship has released a provisional 2016 calendar, which is subject to confirmation by the FIA World Motor Sport Council.

The 2016 calendar consists of 12 rounds highlighted by an all-new race in Riga, Latvia on the 1-2 October, while Franciacorta, Italy and Intercity Istanbul Park, Turkey have both been omitted.

Montalegre, Portugal keeps its place as the traditional curtain-raiser for the season but held a week earlier than 2015 on the 16-17 April.
