Rally Mexico: Neuville eliminated on Rally Mexico

Thierry Neuville breaks his suspension whilst disputing the lead on the Rally Mexico, forcing him to retire on day two.
Thierry Neuville's tough start to the 2016 World Rally Championship season has continued on the first full day of the Rally Mexico after retiring n SS4.

The Belgian was running second to Sebastien Ogier overnight after three short special stages and looked snatched to move in front on the El Chocolate SS4 test, only to spin into a bank in the closing stages.

Damaging the suspension on his Hyundai i20WRC, Neuville could not get the car restarted, with Hyundai confirming he has been retired for the day with a view to restarting tomorrow.

After SS5, Jari-Matti Latvala leads by 22secs over Ogier and Dani Sordo.
