I think, Matthew aside, malcolm's driver choice has been very good the only reason it didn't bear fruit was bad luck, less money and Loeb.
He left Latvala off the leash up until last year, as there is NO DOUBT his silly crashing in 2009 cost Mikko the championship (re in poland where he binned it on the last stage and Loeb got extra points, to name on event)Mikko has been excellent up until last year and this year when bad luck affected his confidence. He is a great driver who is highly consistent and quick when on from. He was able to win rallies against Loeb AND Gronholm. I sure hope Malcolm and Ford stay as a works team next year, it would be a shame to see Loeb sleep walk to another title, or two.
