Well no Big Suprise there, this is all good for Jari matti and his confidence though and it was good preparation for Monte reading the surfaces all the time as that is one of the key things on Monte
Also it was good to see how Ott came back on yesterdays final leg to cut a 35 second defecit to get on the podium, If Ford do not Renew he could well be team mate to Jari Matti
Lets not all be too quick to to say he hasnt got the experinece either, lets not forget a certain Tommi Makkinen who drove an Escort Cosworth to his 1st Rally Finland win in 1994 when he suprised the Rallying world by jumping straight in at the deep end
He had been doing the British Championship in a Nissan F2 car and Ford asked him out of the Blue if he would like to stand in For the injured Mikki Biasion (I think) and he won straight away, Obviously I dont expect Ott to do the same but I do think he will be another Latvala / Ogier of the future
