Not looked at this board before as I really lost interest in the sport when there were only two teams, Ford and Citroen who could win the championship. Having read the posts on here I agree that its a crying shame what has been done to what was the biggest annual sporting event in the UK. I think back to the 85 RAC which I was lucky enough to be able to get the time to follow in its entirety, at least a dozen top manufacturers, the debut of the 6R4 and Delta, Pond pulling Toivenen out of a ditch, it had it all. What we have we got now is little more than a pale imitation. Little wonder that so few spectators now turn up to watch.
