(cont) investment, and have made significant losses this year, Mini have withdrawn. Hyundai dont come in for a year or two, and VW wont want to play long term if their competitors arent involved. The WRC needs to cut costs dramatically, but in right areas. A manufacturer team used to run 3 cars with a fleet of 9 Transit vans, 3 management cars and a small number of mechanics and management team. You dont need huge service areas full of unnecessary people, motorhomes, trucks, workshops etc., etc. This adds nothing to the sport.
