The business model of the WRC has been failing since the Japanese manufactureres withdrew - if a company that makes WRC road cars cannot stay, no one else can. FIA need to re position WRC to cater for entrant teams, 2 simple classes Showroom and Modified, with modified being based on std engine castings but with option of either FWD or RWD. Mak car cost ~ 100 000 Euros.
