@ John. What are you talking about? Huge investment from wealthy guys just wanting to drive the same machinery as the best drivers and the teams having huge service parks, hospitality tents etc. massive shiney lorries, loads of technology, no sideways cars, short stages, some rallies only having 2 stages per day. Surely you dont think rallying should be a about a team having a few transit vans and car transporters with drivers having to drive for nearly 5 days non stop living only on coffee and adrenelin from going from one corner to the next looking out the side window. no power steering???
