Result - Rally Japan.

Sebastien Loeb wins the Rally Japan – just 5.6secs up on Marcus Gronholm; Mikko Hirvonen takes the final podium position while Chris Atkinson and Manfred Stohl complete the top five...

NB. Daniel Sordo finished seventh but was later excluded by the stewards. Sordo was running sixth until he was held up by the stranded car of Luis Perez Companc on the penultimate stage, losing more than a minute. That dropped him 1.2sec behind Toshi Arai in the final positions. However the Spaniard was later excluded for not fastening his seat belts after leaving his car during the incident.
