I tried to find Hapless on the leaderboard. Obviosuly I skipped the top 3. Hapless suffers from vertigo and he'd get nose bleed on a podium. Given JML was super-rallying maybe Hapless would manage to match his Japan 07 result. But he wasn't there either. 5th may be? No. Ostberg with much less experience was 5th. 6th maybe? No, a Mini in its first outing finished 6th. This is getting silly. 7th maybe? No, into the Super 2000 finishers! And then I got bored looking. May be Hapless didn't start.

Found him! In 9th! Still it'll be a "technically challenging event and I'm gaining valuable experience at this level". Interesting that in his 8th season competing on WRC events Hapless doesn't even make the Stobart team, that honour falling to Ostberg, PG Tips etc. If his dad doesn't even place any faith in him why should the viewing public. Utter disgrace to all concerned.
