Good race, looks like Mr Spies is going to stamp his authourity all over this season. Max had a good race, it's been said before, and those aprilias looks fantastico!

Here's hoping race 2 is just as good

I would think that Suzuki would be regretting not putting him on a third bike this year in MOTOGP. He is going great guns hope he can keep it up

looks like a real hard circuit to pass on. spies just seemed to say ****** it i'm gonna pass no matter what on that one lap and once he got to the front it was good night. those three gapped the field pretty good though, hope the field can catch up a bit in race 2. bring on the SS's!

bjorn I disagree on your opinion, well suzuki gave him a break last year in Laguna Seca, yet he failed the motogp to give a good impression, remember he was racing that time in a circuit he is familiar with. what's the problem there. It his bike Its not good enough for him. While his doing good in WSBK, Yes because he has the best bike out there. the Big bang, Long bang, crossplane crankshaft a technology adopted from M1. Hey Guys dont put too much impression on Spies. He has a good Bike as well, give credit to the Yamaha YZF-R1 also. its a 50-50 combination for the bike and the Rider...

please explain how it was his bike @ laguna?
& how about the 6th best race lap?
& how about running 2 races back to back?
& how about getting your appendix remove immediately after the weekend?

Wow.. Didn't take long for people to decide it's the bike and not Spies' talent. If that were true why didn't Sykes take 2nd? The rest of the world is about to get a lesson we here in the USA have learned 3 years ago. Spies is just that good. Sorry Nori.. No title for you this year either..

why the tepid attempt to take away from Spies domination? Ben sought, and found, the best available ride in international bike racing, and is showing what hes all about. Were it not for Biaggi's failure to maintain precision control and running into Ben in the season opening race, its reasonable to believe that Ben would have 3 podiums,if not race wins, out of 3, and hopefully 4 here in a short while.its both bike and rider, beyond a cannot fault him for being aboard such a premier ride.had such a quality ride been in the least open in Moto GP, he would have been offered that as well.Lorenzpo isnt a throwaway just yet, but hed best perform, or expect Spies to replace him
