Great performance from Spies. Only one question remains about this guy, who's ride is he going to take in MotoGP next year?
Dont think it will be a Tech 3 bike, as he will be on a factory bike or nothing. If the Suzuki proves competitive this year in MotoGP, I think he'll be back there. Or possibly on the Ducati if Hayden doesn't perform this year.

Yamaha will keep him. He'll probably stay in WSBK for two years then go motogp so Yamaha can groom him as Rossi's replacement.

This boy is serious business! Twins have won since what? Kocinski, Russell? Since 93 a twin has won the championship 13 out of 15 times. Spies is dominating on a 4 cyclinder! And it's a Yamaha!

Very impressive

That must be ominous for the rest of riders.

Haga must be wonder what he's done moving to Ducati.

Spies is very smooth and consistent and doesn't seem to ever make a mistake. He was the same in AMA.

I thought Byrne might actually do something, but true to form dropped from 4th to 10th in a few laps. I just don't rate him as a world class rider.

Can't wait for Valencia. I think Spies will have the season warapped up with 4 or 5 races to go.

Again very impressive with Spies, new bike and track and dominates.

Nice to see Sykes making the start at last and get a result. Disappointing for Checa and Byrne after their first race results - must have gone the wrong way on the changes. The Aprilia is looking impressive.
Spies took the the cake, the plate and the cherry on top with pole, two wins and fastest lap.

I think it's pretty lame that the commentators lack so much creativity and imagination that they have to resort to recycling nick names. For Jonathan Green every one is either the pocket rocket, or the last of the late brakers,or wins with style, or one of the all time greats (how is Biaggi an all time great in SBK when he really hasn't done anything yet?. And now calling Spies the Texan Tornado. pretty lame, but then again I don't rate Green highly as a commentator. Mr Green if you can't come up with something new and fresh just shut up and call the race otherwise you just sound like an idiot

Rea and Neukirchner are the disappointments of the season so far, much was expected of those two. Ten Kate have been disappointing all round actually. Lets hope some of these guys pick up their game or it could be one boring season. Ben would be 4 wins from 4 starts if he hadn't been run off at PI, at tracks he doesn't know!
