Funny ppor Fonsi- so you had a "disadvantage" because not knowing the track??? Poor boy. And most of all the other racers who did not know the track too :p

Spiess won races on tracks he had never seen before and you are still loocking for the same old excuses- hope that Max is getting well in a record time...

Fonsi is a brilliant rider, and actually 'most' people tested in Kyalami before the race - Fonsi has proven he's good enough to be a contender in wsbk - he wasn't a million miles away from max n last year (another supremely talented rider). He was also competative on the Kawasaki...

How Kagayama kept his ride ahead of fonsi is a joke, but he'll be back, and he'll win something somewhere, mark my words!

Agree with Steve - please put Mladin on the bike, surly Suzuki must be crying out for that???? After watching Kagayama's piss poor performance and now Max is injured, and then who do you bring in??? Nieto?? Gee I could have thought of at least 6 riders who would have done a better job, what a waste of a factory bike.

I'm sure that FONSI can do better that he did at KYALAMI, staying out of racing 7 months.....already great performance to enter in the 15 in South Africa and no crash. let's hope for the USA, with more practice to enter top 8 now. Mladin, no way, he could not have been a good choice for the team, as he isn't used on the tyres, bikes and team. in addition it would have been too much stress for him, to have to battle against his old teamate Spies !!!! He would have been afraid of Spies !!!!
