Not one Kawi in the top 20! How dismal for them. Scassa, Parkes, Hacking all around the same slow time. Something tells me the bike is seriously wanting.

I was hoping for more out of Hacking but it looks like the cards were never there to play.

Hacking can take comfort from the fact that he is 0.1 faster than Andrews, but I think Paul Bird and Kawasaki will want to know how they spend 20 times as much as a tiny team with almost no budget for so little result - it doesn't look like good value!

For the sake of Parkes, Hacking and Paul Bird I hope Andrews doesn't embarrass them in the races - though I wouldn't be surprised.

Wow, Haga is 2nd. Good for him. I wasn't expecting that. He usually doesn't care where he is on the grid because his launches are so good. How many times is he in the lead or battling for the lead within the 1st lap no matter where he started.
The 3 top pts leaders on the front row. This is just great for us fans.

Nice job Hopkins! With very limited time on a superbike (or on a bike at all this year) to be mere hundreths from the top ten is a pretty good run!
