Please don't blanket all Yanks... only a small, albiet LOUD, minority are complete donkeys.

I'm hoping this is an indication that we'll see an phenomenal race come September. :)

This article leaves out the fact that Rea and Fabrizio were both on Qualifying Tyres when they got those times, although Fabrizio was actually the fastest rider on race tyres during the entire test with a 1:48.9 at the end of this mornings session.
Spies appeared to be focusing more on set up today, not doing any long runs, but instead returning to the pits often for adjustments.
Looking for a Haga / Fabrizio / Spies battle come Sept here at Imola.

You'd have to be a complete idiot to think that Spies would push himself to the limit in a *no points* contest.

Just ask Haga what it's like pushing yourself too hard while leading the points race. Well, I'm not surprised considering that nobody wanted to buy me the beer when I predicted that Big Ben would do the double at Donington.

Sheesh, when will you people ever learn?

Jeez I wish Honda would give johnny Rea a wildcard ride at Donington on a MotoGP bike just to shut all the British Fan boys up! This kid needs more time in the heat of battle before he will be good enough to contend with the likes of Haga, Spies and Fabrizio week in and week out! Don't get me wrong, I like him! I just think he still has a little way to go to prove that he should be the team Leader at Ten Kate or even top Brit for that matter. Riding with the guys he is riding with now will assuredly help him down that road! Spies would not be the racer he is had he not had to contend with Mat Mladin Likewise Haga likely owes Bayliss some credit for turning him into the rider he is. Flame on!

Congratulations wacko, the first dumb yank to wake up? Do you only get WSB and motogp over there? Rea, convincingly displayed last year (and previously) that he has the ability to challenge at world class level. Furthermore, your yard stick is Mat Mladin??? Mat-too-scared to take on the big boys!!!!!!He is a big fish in a small pond!
