Finally. Tamada was always a good rider, he just isn't so good with the Kawasaki. In 2004 he won two races (one of which he won by beating Rossi in a straight race) and diced with Rossi at Mugello until his bike problems. Tamada seemed to lose his fire last year, but it looks like he has regained some of it.

He has now got the same number of points as his replacements got in one of rides , amazing what happens when contract time comes along , has he done enough this time to save himself again I hope not or we are going to see another wasted year from Kawasaki .

Bladeboy have u been watching this season????? :?

Because tamada has been injured at for nearly the whole season and hacking had track advantage and in the second race hacking went off track twice and nocked off salom in 23rd position!!!

I am glad for Tamadasan, although race 2's silly off showed lack of race time. Maybe Tamadasan's new form is due to work done by stand in riders...and Parkes? Who knows? I think Tamada only performed consistantly in Japan and maybe JAPSBK is his new home...? SBK needs Kawasaki, and Kawa needs results and moreso wins. With Ben, Nori, Michele, Johnny and Max x2 on form Kawa can not afford to have another season like the first half of '09. Maybe Birdy must look at new blood? Sheridan Morias has enough years and certainly enough talent to do the job! Good luck at Brands boys you'll need it... :)

Po, are you srious?

This guy has been an also ran except for what? 2 races?
If he wasn't japanese he wouldnt even be on the bike.
Kawsaki is still "posin the brand" with their rule of havin a jap rier. Put someone else on the bike and maybe stand a chance next season.

Po is right. Put Tamada back in GPs on a satellite Honda or whatever, and he will beat Canepa and Talmacsi at least - he would probably give Vermuelen a run for his money too.
