I do wonder whether anything is ever going to go right again for Hopper. He looks so uncomfortable when he gets off that bike, like he shouldn't even be walking let alone racing! I hope his luck turns round though and he can put in a few good results before the season is out.

i think it is definitely time for john to think about hangin 'em up... every time he's struggled back from super painful injuries he get's whacked back down... i gotta hand it to him for being so tough but i'm thinking his days at the pointy end are done and dusted...

if stiggy keeps him on and he goes down hard next season that has for sure got to be the end... he does make a good commentator though.

Hopper should just plain sit out the rest of the year and hopefully get himself in shape for next year. He rides beyond the limit of his bike or set up continually and get's bitten as a result. Between that and the luck of schleprock he'll be done racing for good if he's not careful......take a break Jon.

Jeez Johnny boy! How bad is your luck?! Give it a rest for the remainder of the this year, get back to 100% (if that's possible), and give it a go next year! Everyone knows you're proper hard so there is nothing to prove getting banged up some more!

no RawDawg they most certainly are not. In case you people here didn't see what happened, John was punted off the track and run over by another rider (who, by the way should have had the experience to avoid such a dreadful thing).
John goes out every race and gives 100% he doesn't just RIDE. Racing is his life and he won't give up yet. I've read so much ridiculous things about John over the years on this board. Sorry for the rant and thank you for your time. Linda Hopkins. Mother to John and VERY proud of it.
