too bad the practice was so short. I think elbowz will back on top tomorrow with some minor changes. I hope haga can get up there as well. Would love to see a four or five way battle.

and bayliss looking to come back? we shall see...

Haga off to his normal slow start. Sykes 2 seconds off the pace. I'm pullin for ya Tom but you're gonna have to come harder than that!

Good to see Checha at the top of the time sheets as well. Hopefully Marco can come to better grips.

I would hazzard a guess that Fab used a new(ish) tire to lay down a warning shot (good psyc) and Ben probably stayed with his system of old tires as he said in his interview at Miller he uses old tires to set the bike up and new tires are like a free second worth of time. Just guessin is all. :? - Unregistered

12th for MS. mmmm..?
Less than a sec from Speez, just over a 1/2 sec from Max, Not a disaster, what with the track condition by any stretch.
Did he stick a qualifier in or summat, coz he was way down in 20th with 5 mins to go?
I still think he can top 5.

Spies isn't going to try too hard out of the gate and bin it, especially with Haga back in 13th. These times aren't even at the level of when they were testing here, so there is still more to come.

Spies learned from one of the best (Mladin) on how to psych out other riders so I'm not surprised he uses old tires then switches to new tires to get a pole position. Hopefully Fabrizio, Haga, Checa and Rea will make it a race. Would be nice to see Honda win.
