Good for Fab. He was fast in July as well. Only the 3rd time Ben wan't atop all season. Fab should have done well considering he'd been around this track more than most.

Race pace will be the determining factor. Fab and Spies will pull off quick and it'll be who's got tires at the end.

Good on them all up front. Here's hoping for a good race tommorow., Hopefully the sic(k) Hairball wont become a Bowling ball and mess up the season.

Lets be honest.

Finishing 2nd in Superpole is clearly an indication that Spies is washed up and well past his prime. For some time now he has been on the verge of retiring from competitive racing and this is simply a confirmation of something we all knew anyways.

Should we be surprised by this? of course not, the writing has been on the wall for some time now. Lets just wish him well that he is able to end his long career on the world stage with some semblance of dignity thus making way for other far more talented riders that he's clearly been holding up for years if not decades.

Best wishes as you go into that long good night Ben!
