We all know that Cal has never been a cruise around and collect the points kind of bloke, but binning it with only a couple of laps to go and chucking away his championship lead was not in the script at all. This year he has blown the WSS field away and yet he only has a measly 2 point lead to show for it.He is a massive talent and with his plans for next year not yet finalized I can understand why he is still pushing so hard to make sure he impresses the right people. But he isn't going to be WSS champion making,I have to say pretty unnecessary mistakes like this.Everyone knows he is currently the fastest guy in the world on a supersport bike. Now no more gifts,go and get your title mate.

That was a very strange crash. Apparently he couldn't engage a gear coming out of the corner, so there's a possibility of it being a mechanical issue rather than purely rider error. A costly mishap either way.

i dont know about the crash being strange or whatever, but for a guy who has dominateed this class all year , he is showing signs of under the pump, so to speak.
maybe he isnt as good as we all think. well done to sofuoglu, he can ride under pressure!

Rubbish. What pressure is Sofuoglu under? All he can do is finish third in the championship. And both Crutchlow and Lascorz passed him in the race, so actually he buckled under the 'pressure' both times. He was very very lucky this weekend, and he knows it.
