Would like to see Max back on track in Portugal, there has been a big hole in the championship without Max, it should have been a great year for him.

Rumours during the IMOLA race, ...Max still not well to do racing and need more time to be totally fit.
Let's keep the fingers crossed and hope to see him at the winter tests with Suzuki.
But who knows ? Only the doctors... :rolleyes:

Max confirmed on his website that he won't take part in the final round at Portimao. The doctors gave him this advice. His new target is the Portimao winter test.

Well that makes most sense:

He comes back, he's not fully fit, he puts in a lack-lustre performance and folks start mumbling about 'He's lost his edge', or he likely bins it & sets back his recovery even further.

TBH we could have guessed which way this particular cat was always gonna jump (if it was a a sane cat).
