On motomatters they're saying Alstare are looking at a French ex-motogp rider. If Hayate aren't continuing in motogp Olivier Jacques is out of a job, DePuniet and Guintoli are both signed for next year I think, could Jacques be returning to competition or have I forgotten someone ? Or is the story nonsense?

oh man, that would be exciting news. look at the alstare website, they changed their background-image already, no max anymore ... as far as i rember it would mean a return to honda for max as he was already riding for klaffi-honda years ago, am i wrong?

no you're not. this is where he startet in world superbike and got his first podium already in the first season, although never been on a factory honda..
got finally kicked out because of barros joining the team with stronger sponsors..
should be a great ride for 2010 anyway, using the
oehlins-suspension, perhaps with abs?

I think Johnny and Max could make for a very strong team. Two young and up and coming riders with bags of talent. If Max hadn't of had two major injuries he'd have been in the top six regarding points this year i think.
