I bet Birdie is shaking his head and wondering what has he done.Sykes on one of the best bikes NOW and can't do it. What is going to happen when he has to develop a bike, hope Chris has the answers!!!Won't matter too much anyway by the time they get this hot shot new bike Birdie will have replaced Chris and Sykes. He changes riders like he changes his underpants !!!!!! Parkes did a fair job this year and had to deal with a different team mate every round. He should have been given the chance on this hot new development they are all talking up.Let's see what happens.

Sykes has been suffering with a shoulder injury apparently - legacy of his crashes in France. It's proving more painful than he originally feared.

Nakano withdrew the day before the event started because of his neck injury.
