I gotte say,,well done Spies,,i guess you cant take it away from the bloke.
I have also gotta say,,if i were Haga,,i would have rammed that champagne bottle down Fabrizios throat!!!!
With teamates like that who needs enemys???
in the end,,the 10 points he took off Haga cost him the title....
So much for his followng team orders for even this race?
Hope the roles are reversed next season And Haga remembers???

I dont know why Ducati signed Fabrizio again,,he is definatley not a team player,,more just for himself!

but there you go,,hes an italian and thats what they do dont they???

It was"nt so much Spies winning the title,,more Fabrizio gave it to him in a way??

I'm not sure what you're talking about robdagnall. Fabrizio only took 5 points off Haga. Spies would have still won even if Haga had won. Spies would have STILL won if Haga won and Spies finished 6th since he had more wins. So Fabrizio couldn't have been a factory unless he crashed Spies out.

If Fabrizio let Haga past in race2 then what would the final point difference be? 1 point!!!

Fabrizio cost Haga the championship (in Italy) but I'm very happy that Spies won. Next year it will be proven that Fabrizio ain't a team player.

Congrats Ben maybe next year Nori.

PS: Biaggi was pushing Ben and that could have changed the outcome if Haga was let through by Fabrizio. Anyway all is done and dusted now. See you all ext year again.

Why even waste your time being mad at Fabrizio? The guy has a brain the size of a peanut. When they discussed team orders he was probably sitting there blowing bubbles. Congrats Ben!

LOL @ all you people bashing Fabrizio. Did you forget already that he torpedoed Spies a few races ago? If anything, Fabrizio gifted Haga the possibility to come into the last round fighting for the title.

No-one can say Ben didn't deserve his World Title, he was the best. 11 poles on tracks he didn't know? That shows real style.

Tardozzi's embrace of Fabrizio and the tears after race 2 were embarassing, as Hodgson, Hayden and Carter said on Eurosport. However, it looked more like the tearful embrace given by The Godfather to his right hand man after he has been caught with his hand in the till. This will also hurt large back at the factory on Borgo Panigale, especially since Tardozzi is Fabrizio's personal manager!

As I wrote yesterday, go on Ducati, buy Fabrizio out of his contract and employ Shayne Byrne who rode like a demon on that bucket of spares.

ok so fabrizio takes five points from haga and he also took five points in the second race at imola so I guess he must be the belle of the ball back at ducati hq!!!!!!!!!
