I heard someone said about JT....James Toseland? hmm....hard to say anything about him, let's just see how he can perform next year, but to be honest, I don't think he can win the title...maybe finishing above Cal is also something difficult to achieve by JT..

All riders have weekends at certain points when they just cannot get comfortable and get the bike set up right. It really sucks that it had to happen to Haga this weekend, but that's racing. At the end, the most deserving of the championship is the one with the most points (most race wins helps a lot too).

I am a strong Nori fan, but I knew he will lose the title after monza when he started losing points to Spies and could not win a single race (Fabitchio was better than him during the mid season run Spies even mentioned in one race interview. In all fairness he was not a champion in my eyes even though I spent the whole afternoon praying that Spies would crash and hand him the title. Nori has to earn a title and be a champion by winning at least 50% of the races and have consistent qualifying results.
I think Haga should see his contract with Ducati next year and just hang his leathers coz he has failed us so many times.

Comparing this season to Hodgson and Xaus' season is a bit dumb. They were both on the same machinery in '03 and the only non-Ducati in the standings was Lavilla's Suzuki. This season has had 4 manufacturers taking wins, 5 different riders and another 6 taking podiums. This has been no Ducati cup like numerous other seasons when the fours have had to make up daft amounts of displacement. Yamaha have made a bike that has stood up to the Italian manufacturer in the Italian championship (kinda like 2002 all over again.)

It was Nori's to lose and his fall in the first race was the final nail in the coffin, nothing to do with Fabrizio. Poor lad looked like he was going to spew up on the grid!

I was comparing it to 03 due to only 2 men being in the fight for the title from Race1, nothing to do with machinery as then and now everyone else were bit players to their battle. This year was NOT the strongest grid (IMOP) Haga is great but has never won a title,Had Spies had Bayliss to fight this year do you honestly think he would have won?? I dont. Again not taking anything away from him. But He won because He is a very talented Racer,on a great bike in a great Team. Lets now see what he can achieve in GP's but he has given himself a good moral start!!

Everyone sayin Haga didnt win cause of Fabrizio, he has only taken 10 points away from Haga this season, and hes taken 25 points away from Spies at Brno, everyone knows Spies was heading for a double at Brno.

Spies bad points

Mechanical problems at Kyalami - 25/20 points
Running out of fuel Monza - 25 points
Taken out by Fabrizio Brno - 25 points
Getting run off track Phillip Island - 25/20 points

Haga's bad points

Falls off in Dongington - 16 points
Bird in the bike Monza - 20/16 points

Spies deserved it this year, to come back from a 88 point lead to Haga!

Taking nothing away from Spies and Yamaha who have won a fantastic championship, I cannot believe the stupidity and naivety of the Ducati team. Both riders have had issues this year but there were situations at the end of the championship they could have controlled and chose not too, and for what? Because Fabrizio had a mathematical chance of winning if Spies and Haga fell off in all the remaining rounds! Come on! You have left all other motorcycle team managers scratching their heads with this one Tardotzzi. You deserve 2nd place :p
