No Davide, sometimes when you **** up really badly and allow a conflict of interests to interfere with the job you are paid to do, then your position becomes untenable. Then you have to resort to tired excuses like 'I need a change'.

Does anybody really believe this 'I need a change' rubbish?

I wonder how much Haga losing had to do in his decision process. I wonder if him insisting on getting Haga over Max Biaggi had anything to do with it either.

I'm not sure whether there's any truth in that he left because he didn't get Vito's job in motogp, just seemed suspicious both announcing their intentions the same day ??

Odd really, a guy who has been involved with Ducati for so long and been instrumental in much of their success in WSB, just to walk away. Not even offered another role within Ducati either.
Let's just hope Fab can make him a lot of money :)

I thought he left (or had to leave) because he refused to give teamorders? I don't know the guy, but if so, he has my respect, from here to eternity.
