23 confirmed riders looks promising, with a few teams still to confirm their plans, and both Pedercini and Echo CRS have said they plan to run 2 rider teams. Can't wait for the season to start, I'm playing SBK 09 constantly to combat my motorcycle racing withdrawl. :)

Nice to see a couple of more RSV4s on the grid, they are a fabulous bike in every respect, italian exotica is a welcome change from the standard universal jap 4 and the more manufacturers the better. Now come on Triumph you know you want to throw an 1100cc triple into 675 Daytona sized frame... :)

Great to hear that there will be another Aprilia on the grid this season. Having only two riders providing data on a new bike must be difficult in it's development. Will BMW have satellite riders?

Thanks, glad to hear BMW will also have a satellite team. Pitt is a good rider so hope it works out for him. The BMW maybe a step or two down on the Aprilia in development but they appear to be working hard on reducing the gap to the top teams.

Borciani-Guandalini may be a bit of a mouthful for a team name.
WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAPPY FANBOYISM! is definately a bit of a mouthful for a postee :D

The satellite BMW squad is being run by the last guy to win the championship with a private team - Troy Corser's 96 win. It will be managed by Stiggy and have Peter Goddard looking after the suspension.
The battle of the privateers this year will be awesome.
