What an absolutely fabulous race!!! So many great moments! But first of all, I hope Vermin is OK, it was terrible crash. Stunning performance by Checa, obligatory gravel trip (and following chase) by Johnny Rea and again surprisingly weak Yams... now there's a month of boredom. OMG!

That old spoiler Checa was there again . How the hell does he do that and yet he has never come close to winning a champioship. Just cannot work that one out. Well done Leon its a long season and Checa won't be there at the end .

who here predicted checa? he certainly surprised me and leon haslam too !
Well done too Guintoli,

Checa has certainly uped the anti . Shakey must be sat there bad back n all wondering damn what i gotta do now!

Props to the boy he did very well on the privateer bike on his first time out.

Byrne will have his chance to get back in a months time.
His favourite WSB track Portimao !

Shame Nori's gotta wait till Valencia as Portimao is somewhat a bogey track for haga !

early days yet to call the championship

might have to add checa to the fray if his performance today is anything to go by

Unlucky for Nori if it hadnt have been for that idiot Xaus things may have been different.

Brilliant ride by Checa.

It seems like he came from no where. When he caught up to Haga with about 11 or 12 to go I know he had a chance because he had a good pace. Great race.

Chris V wreck was bad but he was lucky the bike hit first and didn't smash him into the wall. I hope he's ok.

Very good weekend for Leon and the Suzuki boys.

Couldn't find anywhere to watch race 2, so had to make do with live timing... Still, what a race! Congrats to Checa and Althea, great job Rea, and Haslam just seems to get better and better. At least the month gap will give Nori time to recover.
