It's a dream debut for Haslam and Guintoli did very well also, Francis Batta must be 'over the moon' with the race pace of his riders..
I just hope he sits them down, has a quiet word and points out that they're on the same team. A couple of times in race 2 you could have been mistaken for thinking it was rival manufacturers on the last lap at the last round, with the title at stake and it almost cost them dear.
It's an important year for Suzuki, the 25th anniversary of the GSXR. By the look, they have a great shot at both rider and factory championships. Every one wants to beat their teamate but at such an early stage, both finishing in front of Ducati and the rest should be priority.

Great stuff by Leon, things are really coming together. Must have been a proud moment for dad Rocket Ron :)
I did notice that he sometimes leaves himself open to block passes but I expect his race craft to improve with experience, afterall this is the first time he has dominated a SBK race.

Leon did good, but he just needed to shut the inside going down to MG corner denying Checa the opportunity.

Maybe he didn't know Checa was that close ? I always wondered if they could hear another rider is coming or not.

Can they ?

Yeah a tremendous result for Leon Haslem ,Suzuki and British race fans.I am very impressed with the way he has handled himself at this level.I think maybe he needs to look at his lines into some corners where he seems to take a wide entry and leave himself vulnerable on the inside. But hey who am i to criticise such a great rider its obviously his style and it works for him.I just felt the double should of been his. That old fox Checa really knows how to use his tyres he really impressed me.How come he has only won 5 races at top level.Cruthlow had a good debut as well and i was very Impressed by Camier. Sykes was very good on what he had i think.Toesland and Shaky have their work cut out .

Continued from my last post! Jhonny Rea he was both impressive and disapointing i expected more from him from the start after what he did last year. But alas once again Ten Kate have been found wanting at the start of the season.Having said that i was very impressed by Rea's performance in race 2 coming back from what looked like a disaster.I am not sure what the outcome was regarding Vermulen's injuries but i hope he isn't too badly hurt. That guy reall wanted to impress. Can't remember tge last time i saw a Kwacker so far up in the dry.Great racing shame about the rubbish Eurosport put on inbetween. Why didn@t they just show some old race clips or something.WSS looks to be suffering.
