On the up-side Shakey it'll cut both ways.

You've shown when you're not injuring yourself you can be quick for superpole. So next time you should be starting a lot closer to the front, and then trying to get past the front runners - including you - will be somebody else's problem.

This is a huge shame he had the pace to run with the front lads, I am a fan of what he has done in the past and I am sure poster 67 is going to love this result. But at this level you can not be slower after a crash because crashing is part of it, I hope he back to it for portimeo and afer what he did last year he should go with nothing less than a double his target because he flies there. Shaky why do you give the likes of 67 amo like this.

The bike is obviously quick enough and Shakey can hang with Carlos, so good luck for Portimao!

I also hope the team has secured access to the latest trick parts so they are not left behind by the factory boys as the season progresses.

Don't worry Shakey, Carlos had the pace to win, you were sticking with Carlos in testing, you'll be OK. I'm sure you're harder on yourself than any of the rubbish that might be posted here. It's just a shame that a Shakey win would have kept me far more awake at 4am than a Checa one!

INCOMING MUPPET ALERT!!!!!!!!!

67 has got to be along any minute with his intellectual assessment of Shakey's performance.....or maybe he's got detention for not handing his homework in on time.... :)

Shouldn't have crashed in free practice Shakey! Its not as if it was important to be fastest at that stage.......would have been on for a top 4 in a better state to race. But I'm sure he knows that already....

@ pp916

Good of you to warn us of incoming muppets ... before posting a really muppet comment.
You know what they say ... "the first step to being cured is admitting to the problem".

On the actual subject ... Shakey started 18th (hoorah world class display) & then finished just slightly higher, after a bunch of riders fell off ahead of him ... so who did he actually pass?
His team-mate, however ... on the same bike, won a race.
Shakey, not the top duke, not the top Brit, not the top privateer, etc ... but no doubt we'll hear how fantastic he really is from him & his loyal fans.

come on 916, give him a little credit, at least this year he managed to finish both races (that's two more than last year) and he also finished in the points in both, so he's made a relative flier of a start to the year!
