I'll be at Kyalami come 16 May, long ride from Cape Town. SA history has a bad habit of 'ebb and flow' re all forms of international motorsport. We can spend billions of taxpayer's money on the stadia and infrastructure to host FIFA 2010. Hosting GP and SBK is 'nickel and dime' money by comparison. Pi***d off!!
@ DW, I hope Aprillia take notice of Shez...Max is still great, but not getting younger.

Many of us here are pissed off at the crap attitude of our govt. In the last 5 months they have stolen, looted and pilfered the equivalent of R1bn (or $200m). The guys that "secured" this deal also walked away with $10m personally leaving our SBK Champ (who holds a world record) to fend for himself. Absolutely shocking. Every time we get some form of motorsport the govt cans it. I was invited to ride in the supporting race and what a day it was. Great to see Shez come in 13th and 11th on a factory Kawasaki that he had never ridden in his life.

The ENTIRE blame for all this nonsense can be atributed to one pluraled word that we South Africans understand and that all the foreigners can be glad they don't....and don't have to put up with either.
Starts with KAF. Ends in FIRS.

Cry the beloved country... :(
