To be honest, they'd be better off having Tamada as opposed to Resch for the rest of the season. Resch is a good rider in the great scheme of things, but in comparison to most of the other WSBK riders, he isn't really at the same level, whereas Tamada is.

@ Kiyo Rulz,

I like Tamada and he really deserves a GO! but I don't agree what you say about Resch. See for the Philip Island results. He injured himself unfortunately, but after Qua2 he was in 18th place and in front of BMW riders Pitt en Xaus. Considering his unexperience in WSBK and probably not heaving the easiest bike, he did well above my expectations.

I think he has some raw potential, and I doubt if Tamada will do better than him at Portimao. I hope so, but it will be very hard.

As Resch isn't going to do a whole lot more than stare wistfully from the pitwall his grannie could nick a scooter & do better.

Still, it'll be interesting to see what Tamada makes of it. Hope him & Pitt kick Xaus's miserable butt :p

But I won't actually put money on that :rolleyes:
