WSBK » Fabrizio keen to banish Oz near-miss with Portimão revenge

Michel Fabrizio is bidding to turn the tables on Alstare Suzuki World Superbike Championship rival Leon Haslam in round two at Portimão in Portugal this weekend - by triumphing around a track at which Ducati Xerox, if not his team-mate Noriyuki Haga, has traditionally shone

Not sure which bit of what Sweeble said triggered someone to disagree.

The Bog-brush is very much a contender.

My own money's on Haslam and Haga - but he's the one which makes me worry it might not be all that safe.
I won't be too surprised if the decider is which of 'em lobs it at the scenery least often

It's a bit too early to say that MF will win the title but for sure he's a contender and who knows...maybe NH will have to support him at the end of the season to bring the crown back to Bologna. Portimao is a great track and we will seeplenty of riders battling it out at the front. I think that the xerox guys will battle oit out with both Suzukis, Rea and Biaggi and maybe we will see Crutchlow or even Camier in there as well. Let's hope for some exciting and fair racing and then we will all be happy :)

I admit I was frustrated trying to predict a Champ out of this year's racers, so I just went with Fabs on the factory Duck. But the results from PI have thrown my predictions into turmoil.

It'll also be interesting to see if Haga can forget about last year's results on this track.
