hmmm dunno about kenan anymore. Former champion he is but Eugene has much better race craft than him. He could easily qualify a 5th place for the race then smoke the competition in the race. Anyone remember philip island?? :)

@wr86 - two ama guys in the top 5

LoL! It's funny hearing Chaz referred to a an "AMA guy"
I remember seeing him race a 125 in freezing weather agianst this guy "Casey Stoner" at Silverstone...whatever happened to him? (yeah I *know*)

It was meant as a gentle tweak.

I know his time in the states is viewed in Britain as a negative thing but he did really well for himself and not on the best of machinery - his never give up attitude and ability to ride beyond the level of his non-factory bikes is what won me (and many other americans) over.

Imagine what he could do on a full factory ride if given the chance.

No worries wr86, I completely agree he does have a good attitude and is a great guy. I met him once at the British GP when he gave a guided tour lap of the Donington track in a coach. Him and James Ellison. Great guys the both of them.
Afterall, who was the last British guy to win the Daytona 200? (noone to the best of my knowledge)

Chaz was in school with my Son, he has always been gentle and I hope that his personality and determination gets him a good season! But..... where oh where do I watch this on British TV? I followed him all the way through the Moto GP years and now the TV coverage is a non starter1
